Frequency of meetings: Once every 3 months
Target audience: Any person working for a company that is a member of the MMA who deals with warranting condo projects to Agency (FNMA, FHLMC, HUD & VA) guidelines.
Regular Topics for discussion:
- Sharing tips on how to navigate FNMA’s CPM platform.
- Discussions on the differences between agency condo guidelines (primarily FNMA vs. FHLMC, but also as compared to HUD’s and VA’s condo guidelines).
- Discussion on specific set of circumstances on specific condo projects and whether or not Lender(s) have enough to clear FNMA’s and FHLMC’s “significantly deferred maintenance” guidelines.
- Sharing information of specific condo projects that have known structural issues; such as newspaper articles on condo projects where occupants have been ordered to immediately vacate their units.
- Are there ways for Lenders to increase the number of FNMA non-PERS approvals that show up in CPM (Condo Project Manager)?
